Important documents
The renter and all approved drivers must be in possession of a full, valid driving license for at least one (1) year and present it together with an identity card or passport while receiving delivery of the vehicle. Furthermore, the following conditions apply depending on the issuing country of the driving license.
EU Driving Licenses - Valid driving licenses of all EU countries are accepted.
All Other Licenses - Driving Licenses printed with non-Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, and Cyrillic) must be accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit.
Driver's licenses from countries outside the European Union must be accompanied - complemented supplemented by an international driver's license.
Learner's Permits, and driver's licenses with driving restrictions will not be accepted.

Age restrictions
Certain regulations apply related to minimum age and possession of driver's license which can be found during the booking process depending on the booked vehicle. Basically, the minimum age for every driver is 21 years (having held the driving license for at least 1 year). A deviation from the minimum age is possible depending on the vehicle.
In Greece, the following rules apply for the minimum age and possession of a driver's license:

Additional Driver
A charge is levied for the additional driver, whose details are filled in on the rental agreement, only if the additional driver presents a valid driver's license.

Tariff information
General
All credit cards from internationally recognized credit card companies - such as Mastercard/Eurocard, Diners Club, Visa and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) are acceptable as payment methods whereas any third party credit cards or prepaid cards are not accepted. The payment method must have been issued in the name of the driver.
This must be presented at the time of vehicle pick-up and be valid at this time. The vehicle rental is paid for by cash or credit/debit card (with a 3% bank commission surcharge).

For the categories of four-wheeled over 450 cubic meters
Rental Amount + 500,00

An advance charge approval is obtained for the chosen means of payment as a security. The exact deposit is determined on collection since the amount is dependent on the vehicle (the Rental amount plus Non Waiver Responsible amount and one fuel tank; different amounts are possible).
Pre - authorization Amount Release: The release of the amount can take up to 21 working days if a credit card or up to 90 days if a debit card is used depending on the issuing bank of the card.
The company cannot influence this process and is not responsible for any bank charges and time delays associated with this process, because it falls under the banking regulations of the cooperating bank of the lessee.
In case the renter fails to collect the vehicle on the rental start date and time without any written or telephone conversation, the company will cancel the reservation after 1 hour and will be charged a minimum of 1 day.
Special rental information when booking Prepaid rates

Changing booking
A prepaid booking can be changed up to 48 hours before the start of the rental (depending on availability) in return for a booking modification fee of 10,00 EUR. Any payment already made towards the rental will not be refunded; nor shall any differential amount be refunded if this modification leads to a lesser rental cost. Any changes made to a prepaid reservation may impact the rental rate. A change from a prepaid rate to a non-prepaid rate is not possible.

Cancellation
A booking can be canceled before the start of the rental up to 24 hours. In the event of cancellation, the payment in advance already made towards the rental shall be paid back subject to a cancellation charge, which will be withheld and shall be in the amount of the rental charge (including any extras and charges) for a maximum of 3 rental days. No-show
In the event that the booked vehicle is not collected or not collected at the agreed time, the rental charge already paid shall be withheld in full.

Roadside Protection
Our Roadside Protection is an extended breakdown protection during the vehicle rental in Rhodes and protects the contract holder against high service and repair costs for the following incidents:
1) Key locked inside the vehicle: In the event of the key being locked inside the vehicle, the company will assume the costs to open the vehicle and for the vehicle to be towed away and for a replacement vehicle.
2) Breakdown caused by lack of fuel/power for electric cars: In the event of a breakdown due to having run out of fuel/power, the company will assume the costs for the breakdown assistance and fuel required for the onward journey.
3) Assistance due to flat battery: In the event of assistance with starting being needed, the company will assume the costs for assistance (by the vehicle manufacturer or one of its partners).
4) Immobilization of the Vehicle: In the event that it is not possible to move the vehicle (e.g. due to driving on off-road routes, on beaches etc.). The company will assume the costs for the vehicle to be towed away and for a replacement vehicle.
5) Misfuelled vehicle: the company will assume the costs for the vehicle to be towed away, for the cleaning of the fuel tank and refueling it.
If any damage on the rental vehicle occurs, which is not covered by the company within the scope of the Roadside Protection, the renter is liable for such damage.
Road protection is provided during the days and hours of operation of the office.
An Accident Handling Fee applies if a vehicle is damaged.
Protection conditions
Excluded from the protection is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. Same applies in the case of deviation of the usual vehicle uses (e.g. overloading) or with personal failure of the driver (e.g. alcohol and/or drug consumption). All protection as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's license at the time of the event giving rise to claim.
The company can control - monitor the vehicles through the global positioning system (GPS) and in case the lessee violates the terms and restrictions of the lease, the company will impose an additional fee.
VAT
All prices include 24% VAT.
Insurance coverage
Excluded from the protection is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods.
All protection as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's license at the time of the event giving rise to claim.
Damages to the vehicle's chassis underbody will be charged directly to the client, and are not covered by any Coverage.
Basic Insurance - Third Party Insurance
Protection coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability for material damages for personal injuries.
Loss Damage Waiver
If such insurance coverage is accepted by the renter, it partially relieves the drivers of the vehicle from their liability in the event of damage or theft. Recognizes damage exemption from 50 EUROS to 600 EUROS.
ATTENTION: Damage to the lower part of the vehicle frame, tires and glass (mirrors, lights, etc.), will be charged directly to the renter and are not covered by any insurance coverage.
Vehicle refueling
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to company, otherwise the current prices per liter of petrol will be charged in addition to a refueling fee.
If desired, the vehicle will be refueled according to currently available conditions after returning it to the office. No refunds will be given for unused fuel.
Delivery and collection
Deliveries and collections are available at the office of the rental company.
For the delivery - collection service to/from hotels more than 20 kilometers from the company's office, they are available at a corresponding fee.
Administration Fee for Fine
The renter is liable for payment of all traffic/parking fines occurring during the rental.
In case of removing the license plate because of a traffic offence, the renter will be charged for the disuse of the vehicle.
In case the renter does not pay the fine/s and the company intervenes to the procedure, an administration fee will apply additionally to the fine's cost.
Lost Of Key
A key loss fee is imposed depending on the vehicle group and the geographical location where it is lost.
Vehicle Cleaning
In case the vehicle requires a special cleaning procedure (i.e. smell removal, spill of liquids etc.) after returning, a cleaning charge will apply.
Courts of Law
The Rhodes Courts of Law are responsible for resolving any problems or doubts of service that might occur.
